About Dr. Katy
I became a doctor for a simple reason: I love helping people feel better. As a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist, my goal is to offer care that’s personal, holistic, and truly supportive. I believe in listening carefully to your story and creating a plan that fits who you are and what you need. It’s not just about relieving symptoms—it’s about giving you the tools to thrive long-term.
I’m all about prevention and balance, focusing on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. You can expect treatments that might include acupuncture, herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle support—all personalized to you.
My own health journey has taught me a lot about resilience. I’ve personally dealt with PCOS and infertility, so I understand how overwhelming and frustrating health challenges can be. This experience is why I’m so passionate about helping midlife women find their way back to vitality, balance, and feeling truly supported.
I first fell in love with natural medicine through my studies in ethnobotany—how people use plants as medicine around the world. After spending some time working in biology, I realized what I really wanted was to work directly with people, guiding them toward natural, holistic solutions that actually fit their lives.
I’m a Maine native, and I’ve learned that we can all change for the better. I wasn’t always into exercise (as a kid, I once declared, “I just don’t like to sweat”), but now I get joy from hiking, running, and strength training.
When I’m not working with patients, you’ll probably find me chasing my toddler, reading, learning something new, or creating things.
